Banking career
Baker worked through senior banking roles before becoming Managing Director and CEO of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank in 2018. She led the bank until 2024, according to the company’s published account of her tenure.

The Reserve Bank of Australia’s biography records her accounting studies at La Trobe University and experience across retail banking, financial services and executive management.
