Before HEX
HEX’s company history says Cheah worked in corporate innovation, studied user experience design and started a career consultancy before helping create the education venture.
Founding the program
She and co-founders designed an entrepreneurial learning program and ran an initial study experience with seven students. HEX later expanded to programs in Australia and overseas as well as virtual learning. The organisation describes its partnerships with universities and its offerings for students.
Executive role
HEX lists Cheah as co-founder and chief executive. The Asian-Australian Leadership Awards named her among its 2021 winners. Those records document her work and recognition without relying on the blog’s claims about ancestry.
