I need your assistance in achieving the aim of ACLW's new Diversity Award which aims to recognise and award individual and organisational efforts to advance women, particularly marginalised women in Australia.
This Award is the culmination of efforts to address a gap in mainstream recognition programs for Diversity Champions who strive to assist women from diverse backgrounds and the women who thrive as a result of the initiative.
It is said that the best nominees are often the people who wouldn’t dream of putting themselves forward, which is why I am asking you to nominate individuals for this application.
As a team of volunteers (Judges and Sponsors) we are hoping that this Award receives numerous applications so that we have the opportunity to discover who are the people and organisations striving to enable and create pathways for women from all social groups and the power of their initiatives. We also want to reward and recognise the women who have integrated the benefits of the initiative into their own journeys of empowerment.There are some wonderful prizes for winners (Diversity Champions and women benefiting). Moreover all short-listed candidates will be featured at ACLW.
